Just after 330am CVFC was alerted for a Structure Fire in the Crystal Beach Community. Assistant Chief 1 arrived to find a 2 story single family dwelling with fire showing. Rescue and Tanker 1 arrived and deployed a handline to quickly knock the bulk of the fire. Mutual aid units began to arrive and assisted with opening up the roof, salvage and overhaul.
Mutual Aid: Hacks Point, Chesapeake City, Singerly, Galena, Millington, Kennedyville, Middletown, Aetna, Crumpton. QA Quint 6 filled in at Station 1 for the duration of the incident
