Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company
The Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company is a non profit organization that has been serving the community since 1936. Our founding members as well as the first members of the rescue squad consisted of 8 individuals. H.W. Cheyney, Sr., Raymond Fillingame, C. Rowan, Robert De Lauer, Harry Boulden, Robert Kennedy, Elmer Pierce, Harry Pierce and George Humphrey. By 1938, the Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company elected their first ever Fire line officers and began to function as an organized company.
Today, The Cecilton Volunteer Fire Company provides fire and EMS services to the Cecilton, Warwick and Earleville areas. Running roughly 150 Fire and 500 EMS calls per year, CVFC is always looking for ways to better serve their community.
In order to continue providing "service for others", CVFC needs individuals like you to join our team. Want to become a Firefighter, EMT, or apparatus driver? CVFC will provide you with the proper education and training to assist us in serving our community. In addition, volunteers known as associate members play a huge roll in planning fundraisers, finding ways to give back to the community and help out around the station.
